Dr. Samarani has more than 25 years of clinical experience, with a practice covering single to full-arch implant rehabilitation and complex surgical cases. His clinical work includes advanced implant rehabilitation for patients with limited bone volume, incorporating techniques such as zygomatic, pterygoid and trans-nasal implants, as well as advanced guided bone regeneration and soft tissue augmentation when clinically indicated. In parallel with his ongoing clinical practice, he remains at the forefront of advanced implant techniques, combining clinical precision with academic rigor.
Dr. Samarani has been actively involved in the clinical application and teaching of immediate loading implant protocols since 2003, at a time when this approach was still emerging. He is regarded as an early adopter and contributor to the development and dissemination of immediate full-arch rehabilitation concepts, combining extensive clinical experience with academic engagement.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Samarani is an internationally recognized speaker and has been invited to lecture at more than 40 scientific conferences worldwide. He has published and co-published 19 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and contributed to a reference textbook in bone grafting.
Beyond clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Samarani is actively involved in the development and refinement of advanced implant surgical approaches, with a strong focus on improving surgical efficiency, precision, and patient outcomes. These efforts led to the development of a dedicated surgical kit, produced in collaboration with Meisinger, a world-renowned manufacturer of precision dental instruments.
Dr. Samarani holds several academic roles and is engaged in postgraduate education, contributing to the training of dentists across multiple regions. Over the years, he has also developed his own professional training courses, which are attended by dentists from different countries and practice backgrounds.
